So 4 weeks ago i went to the hospital for bad headaches, dizziness, nausea, and cramping. They monitoried baby for an hour and sent me home just saying to drink more water. Last week i got bloodwork done and my OB was concerned about the headaches and dizziness and that meds werent helping so i got the protein in my urine tested which came back quite high at 360. Also my iron is very low at 10. At my OB office there are about 6 different doctors and iv seen them all. The doctor who was concerned was a female doctor. She called me yesterday about my iron being so low and said they may need to intervene. I went in today for an appointment and had one of the male doctors. He said they would only give me an iron infusion if it dropped to 8 but that i was done with bloodwork so how would we know if it dropped more? He also said that yes my urine protein is quite high and hes aware of my headaches and dizziness and i cant be up on my feet for more then 10 minutes without needing to sit down, but he said because my blood pressure isnt high that i should be ok....well i definitely dont feel ok being dizzy and having headaches all the time and my really high urine protein kinda scares me. Im not sure if i should go to the hospital again even though last time they just sent me home telling me to drink more water. Or if i should call my OB nurse line about it all and hope they speak to the female doctor who showed some concern and not the male doctor who didnt seem to care??? Just looking for some opinion. Im scared to just let it all go and get worse.
