HSV testing & marriage

I have been having issues with a lot of stuff down below. I went to a gyno and she said she is suspicious of possible hsv. She took a swab and I have to wait about a week for results. I'm bugging. I've been with my husband for almost 5 years and have had very few sexual partners prior to him. I've been tested for STDs in the past and never had anything come up. It's making me worry if I've had it all this time and not known or is there the potential that he gave it to me. I just need comfort and education. If it comes back positive I don't know what to do.
