Postpartum bleeding, is this normal?

I'm 1 week pp and when I'm standing, I can still feel gushes of blood. It will slow down and pick back up randomly. Blood is still bright red

Different for everyone. Yes I bled for weeks after birth and each time I breastfed it would be more. They told me at the hospital to watch out for blood clots. If you feel insure you should call your OB office.

If you’re filing up a pad within an hr then you need to call your doctor. PP bleeding is different for everyone so keep a close eye on it but otherwise it’s pretty normal and can last weeks.
Personally mine never lasted more than 5-7 days with only afterbirth and next day of heavy bleeding.
