Induction

Hello, can anyone in Scotland tell me if elective inductions are a thing? I know general rule is term +12, but my first son was 10lbs 6oz at birth (41+2) (growth scans were also wrong on size and weight) I’m absolutely terrified of my babies being any bigger than that, I will be speaking to my midwife about a plan to make sure I don’t go any bigger than my son was, however i can’t find anything solid online answer wise as to whether we do elective induction in Scotland or the UK at all? I’m not talking about early induction, but maybe not much later than 40 weeks. I know all pregnancies and babies are different, but I feel I’d have a reasonably good weight in a baby by then without having to go overdue… TIA.
