Iron infusions

I had a trip to the er last month. Long story short unrelated to the reason i went i got labs which i took to my next ob visit. I am anemic which isn't all the surprising. But the doctor ran another set of labs that included my iron stores and my binding capacity. She recommended IV iron and referred me to a hematologist. I got my insurance approval for the treatment and they start next week. I'm so ready and hoping I'll start to feel better. I had to do this in my third pregnancy and i know it greatly improved things then. The only down side is a lot of back and forth to the doctor
