Cautiously Optimistic
Last period was October 22. I didn’t track this cycle. No bbt, no OPKs, just enjoyed time with the hubby & continued my workouts. I have been feeling off last few days, sore boobs, and bloated. Figured I’d test - just for the heck of it and sure enough - pregnant! It’s hard to be optimistic. This is my 7th pregnancy. I have a 6 year old girl, and 5 angel babies.
I have PCOS - so irregular cycles and normally needed letrozole to induce ovulation. I don’t normally ovulate on my own and since I wasn’t inducing ovulation this cycle - I thought my chances of getting pregnant was very slim.
My last pregnancy was earlier this year, but it ended up in miscarriage. I also found out that I had Asherman’s syndrome, had a procedure done to clear out the scarring in September. On October 29, I had an HSG done - my tubes were patent, but they saw that there were some scarring that grew in my uterus. I was referred to a fertility specialist and had an appointment scheduled for January 13…fingers crossed that this baby is healthy and be my second take home baby. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
