3rd child ttc- 1 year

Im writing on here to get an unbiased opinion. My husband and I have beem trying for our 3rd for a year now. I went for a diagnostic with a infertility doc to talk about options. Background i have 2 daughters no complications at all with getting pregnant or during pregnancy delivered both vaginally. The infertility doc said well age (37) is a factor and we can do a primlinary test to check uterus and blood work to see if i have young eggs or old eggs. Once that is determined i could take med to help me ovulate more often for a greater chance but he said the chances of twins is very high. Im not at the point where ivf would not be for me nor twins. We have two heakthy daughters im beyond bkessed but frustrated is an understatement. Do i go for the diagnostic. I feel the options are something im not interested so we just keep fate and keep trying but I want a third and im so confused as to wtf is happening . Has anyone been in this situation im looking for advice encouragement anything
