Why do most guys stop talking to me when they find out I’m on birth control ?

It’s the strangest thing. What’s up with that? Guys from online hook up sites. What do they think once a girl tells them she’s on birth control? They are the ones who ask if I’m on birth control then once I tell them I have birth control they stop talking to me completely. Why is that?

They specific guys might think if a girl is on birth control then she must sleep around a lot and that’s why she has to take a pill (or whatever form) to not get pregnant. It’s a ridiculous thought

My dad told me he dated a girl for years and she was on birth control whole time..
One day she got off of it and my dad said she was a completely different person.. like a new human he didn’t know and didn’t like. 
He said the birth control messed with her hormones and stuff.. 
I’ve heard multiple stories like this..
Just like woman say birth control makes u “fat”..
If it can change you physically it can change you in other ways too.

I'd say don't worry about it, and instead take it as a "win"- in the sense that they're "filtering" themselves out for you. Because it is wierd. Especially since birth control is used for more than just pregnancy prevention.
