Is it weird that I don't want a Baby Shower?

So this is my second, but this time I'm having a girl, and for some reason I just dont want a shower. I have registries with Amazon and Target, but even with those I'm on the fence on posting them. I dont have many girlfriends (literally I have 3) and I just dont have the spirit to throw one. I had one with my son and about 10 people showed up and I was a bit embarrassed after seeing other ladies showers and they had like 20 to 30 people show up and their showers seems to be way better organized then mine was, but I did put mine together all by myself with the little people that I know. I don'tknow. I feel like I jipping my daughter out on a memory I could share with her like I can with my son, but I just can't get the feeling of not wanting one :(

I chose to not have one for my daughter for the same reason. I threw my own for my son & not many showed up and not many bought off the registry. 
I can’t bring myself to be disappointed again so instead , I posted my registry on the off chance anyone wanted to buy my daughter something(they haven’t) & instead my husband & I are just going to celebrate her with a dinner

Nope not at all. I am currently 34 weeks & 4 days pregnant with my first & I didn’t want one. One of my sisters pressured me into having one. I ended up having one at 30 weeks and 4 days. One of my sister was supposed to put it on for me but she completely began to act weird & cut me off for no reason. She just recently had a baby 2-3 months back and she should’ve let it be known that she overextended herself and that she couldn’t come through with it. She didn’t even show up. My other sister on the other hand did an amazing job with renting the place, & doing the decorations. Also not a lot of people showed up but it’s definitely the memories that count…

No it’s not weird. I didn’t want one either knowing no one from my side would show for a formal party. Instead we’re doing hors d’oeuvres and afternoon tea at my SIL house. Afternoon tea is one of my favorite things to do and it’s super popular in my state. I’m lucky my husband’s friends are so easy going, they are full on dressing up for the tea party lol ￼

36 weeks here and I didn’t have one either and I’m not planning on one. I had a registry lucky people did get our baby most of the items on there but with those odd ones that would promise to get baby something from the registry and it’s all just talk. I closed her registry now because I feel she has everything she needs but I do not regret not having a shower.
