scared to take bs pill? lo loestrin fe?

anyone who has a fear of taking pills how did you do when you took the birth control pill? I never really take medication because I fear side effects but I got prescribed a lo loestrin fe. im nervous about those side effects. i’ve taken a plan b before and have been fine and that’s a higher dose than regular bc so i think ill be okay… i’ve had the mirena and i loved it but i had to get it out cuz the time on it ran out and i didn’t feel like going through with it getting it put back in. has anyone else taken lo loestrin???

This is the birth control i take and I was scared to start it at first bc I hadn’t taken birth control for years and I’ve had no issues or side effects. never had a pregnancy scare either. I also like it because my period was somewhat irregular before, I never knew when it was coming and it’s much more regular now. I’d give it a shot, you can always change birth control if it’s not the best one for you

I personally had horrible side effects with the pill. it’s honestly not good for the body, the more research and stories I hear, the worse it is lol I do have the non-hormonal IUD and i had some cramping and bleeding in the beginning but nothing too terrible. With the pill, I was constantly tired, moody, overall just terrible moods, headaches, my periods were pretty rough, cramping etc, then I got paranoia and anxiety/depression (which I struggled with the before, but it was almost unmanageable with the BC) after I got off, I felt MUCH better. I ended up getting the IUD about a year and a half ago and I don’t have any major noticeable side effects!
