Am I to over protective?

Is anyone else weird about adults who “love” being around kids?? I’m already super sketch about adults around my kids but when other people are vouching for them like “omg he loves kids” “they are so amazing with kids” or adults who bring kids treats and shit all the time?? I’ve always been sketch about that but now I’m in a pretty close knit community and every time I meet an older person (mostly men) all I hear is “he lovesssss kids” and it makes my skin crawl.. like now I want you further away from my kid! Now I see one specific person is ALWAYS Santa in the neighborhood and I’m like ewww no! He’s super sweet and kind and lovesss kids but always brings my 6 yr treats, ignores my 11 yr boy and I just don’t like it.. I’ve even told him NOT to bring her treats!! When she was with a babysitter (my neighbor) he would bring her treats without my knowledge. I couldn’t really help that as he is a person who helps older people with lawns and stuff but every day?? But anyway, my gut is going off about him being Santa and all the other people who are the same! She isn’t with the babysitter anymore and she doesn’t see him anymore.. and I’ve made it clear to him I’m not comfortable with him around her but am I over reacting? No fuck that, even if I’m crazy it’s better than the later!
