Did the Dr put something in my throat?

This is such an odd question but I am so so nauseous right now. I had an EGD done this morning, it’s a procedure where they put a camera down your throat to look at your stomach/digestive system. They did it to look at my ulcers. Simple, in and out thing I seriously don’t even feel like I had anything done to me BESIDES THE DISGUSTING NASTY TASTE in my mouth that is legit coming out of my throat, like it’s coming up almost like acid reflux? But it’s just a taste and no feeling. I can smell it too, it smells and tastes like rotten eggs and I’m convinced they sprayed something in my throat, maybe to numb it or lube it? How do I get this taste out of my mouth? I rinsed my mouth and brushed my teeth but I swear it’s coming from the back of my throat. They put me under anesthesia so I don’t know.

I just found out that they did, so never mind. My question still stands on how to get the rotten egg smell out of my throat 🤢🤢🤢

And believe me if I could reach a toothbrush down there or manage to gargle mouthwash that deep without drowning I’d do it. It’s coming from the depths of hell.
