Hey guys! So I ran my own photography business for about 5 years, and after a while I just got super burnt out on it. I always felt bad raising my prices and I was going into debt because people wanted this amazing photos with all this stuff but they didn’t want to pay for the items I had to purchase in order to accomplish their vision. I justified it by saying “well I’m still a new business, I’m stocking up my client closet.” But after a while I had to face facts and decided to close down.

I’ve been thinking about it a lot lately and I think I want to reopen my business, but under a different business model. I most likely would not do social media, more Google marketing, and I would definitely raise my prices and offer less images. Maybe sell artwork and canvases instead of just a digital package.

These are just a few images I’ve done in the past. I miss the artwork and being an artist. But I’m expecting a second baby in June and I’m homeschooling my 1st grader. 😩
