I don’t want to have a baby

I’m 22 years old about to be 23 and last night my bf who’s 31 told me that’s he wants a baby next year, we have only been dating for 2 years 6 of those months he was out of the country, I told him I don’t want a kid next year because I’m starting school in January, I’m currently a waitress and don’t want to do that forever, he said if we don’t try for a kid by September he wants to break up and to not waste his time, I’m very traditional when it comes to having children and marriage we aren’t even moved in yet and we’re not even engaged he has a bachelors degree & I don’t have any degrees yet, I told him before we even have a kid we need to get married and be moved in together and I need to at least finish a 1 to 2 year program in school, he told me we have too many differences and he doesn’t want to wait longer because he’s already 31, this makes me very upset because we’ve always set a timeline of when we want kids and it wasn’t until I was going to be 24/25, makes me feel like I’m wasting my time on someone who doesn’t want the best for us or for our future child, I want to be able to give my baby the world and not be pregnant during school, I’m not sure how I feel about this I know I’m doing the right thing but d*mn,
