You say knows you as in friends or serious relationship? I don’t think getting anyone name name tattooed on your body is a good idea 
I know someone who has there ex wife name on their ring finger they are in another relationship with a family now I don’t think it’s wise

Having your name tatted on him doesn’t really mean shit. He could have your name tatted on him and still continue to cheat lol. He also could move on and get it covered. Doesn’t mean anything 
I also don’t think time means anything either. I was with my ex for almost 5 years and we had 2 kids together. He still left for another girl
