Is this toenail fungus?

I had ingrown toenail surgery 2 months ago and I noticed this one on the sides looks different from the other toe. Is it just growing back or does it look like fungus? It didn’t look like that before on the sides prior to the surgery either

I had the same thing and went to the dr thinking it was yeast too but he said that’s just now the chemical used during the procedure spread under the nail. He said it takes 9 months for the nail to grow out before it looks normal again. It in fact did take about 9 months. I will say though, the sides of my nails are not “normal” anymore but worth it to be pain free.

Not really to me, but you can always buy an anti fungal cream and see if it helps, to me it just looks like your nail is still healing and growing
