Before period smell

Hi so this is kinda embarrassing but I know I won’t get shamed on this app at least since it’s 95% women. So since having my son which was almost 4 years ago. I’ve been having this smell come like either a few days or up to a week before I start my period. It’s a good and bad thing bc I’m like “oh ok cool periods about to be here” but this smell is weird like it’s not too bad like a fishy smell but it doesn’t smell good so I close my legs when I’m around people if I can smell it. I thought maybe BV but everywhere I’ve looked up it says you’d have a fishy smell. And I’ve had BV in the past so I’d know if it was with all the other symptoms BV comes with. It’s not a yeast infection cuz I don’t have those symptoms either. Like I said it’s ALWAYS a few days to a week before my period. At this point it’s making me go crazy bc I do NOT like to stink but I don't know how to fix the smell. I can't go to the doctor to check bc I don't have medical insurance rn but will hopefully sometime next year. Has anyone else gone through this? I don't like this smell it makes me feel like I'm nasty when I usually smell good. 🤦🏽‍♀️
