help pleaseee

i’m having very heavy irregular bleeding pretty much all of this month. it’s not my “period” cycle i don’t thinks . it’s hormone imbalance from my iud removal in october. last time i had unprotected sex was the 21st, so could i end up pregnant from that!! i haven’t been able to get pregnant again. my ob didn’t seem concerned or care that much im bleeding so heavily so im going to get my iud back in at planned parenthood, i was TTC but my periods are so heavy and painful, i get dizzy and vomit and have severe nausea. i cant deal with it anymore as much as i want a baby. its been a rough three months and i am so miserable. i have two young children i have to take care of and it’s just so hard with my heavy PAINFUL periods.

my question though, can you have heavy bleeding from hormone imbalance and still end up pregnant? there’s no way im getting my actual period other week. i know it’s probably a very low chance i could be pregnant right now considering how much i am bleeding but im also having unprotected sex and not trying to prevent pregnancy. if i’m not pregnant by the time i have to get my iud in, im just going to wait the 8 years because im going through absolute hell. i don’t even know how im still alive with now much i bleed. my MIL said she had heavy bleeding for 2 months before she found out she was pregnant.
