Still getting used to it

I really thought this day would mevee come to me but it did. Fiance did propse on christmas day. His plan was to wait for my parents to come over as they usually do when i have to work christmas eve and cant be at their house. He could not wait because his emotions was high after the gifts and love he recived this christmas that he has never gotten before. In my family we do one gift on christmas eve and the gift i gave him to open was a picture of him and his mom i cropped and created because he lost his mom 16 years ago. Then on christmas day it was a gift my daughter got him. A plaque about being a stepped up dad. Aftee that he just couldnt wait anymore. He opened my last gift he got me. Walked ovwe to me and said i love you, and i want to know if you will allow me change yours and your daughter last name to mine. My daughter immediatly said yes please, now are you proposing, he said yes, yes i am. And of course i said yes. My parents knew it was going to happen that dad. He had talked to my patents first and even texted my mom the gifts he got me and the ring while he was at Zales picking them out. The infinity necklace with a blue sapphire diamond, blue diamond earings, and the ring is of course blue sapphire. He knew i wanted a blue one.
