Birthing Comb?

Question

Has anyone tried using a birthing comb during labor? I figured for $4.99, it didn’t hurt to try out. However, I’m not even really understanding how to use it because some articles say push it into fingers and then others say a certain point in the palm….so I’m lost. Is it worth it?

I never used one but it sounds very interesting! I say for $5 you should try it. I believe the idea is an alternative pressure/"pain" to help you cope with the contractions and labor pains. With my 4th birth I chose to get into the shower and even the sensation of water and the distraction of that helped me so much (ended up giving birth on all 4s in the tub when the shower was turned off lol). I had one and it was useful for the first few hours- I squeezed it into my palm and it was better than squeezing someone’s hand. 
I eventually put it down when things got really hard but I’d use one again!

I use it towards my palm personally. Used one for my tattoo, and i use combs for pain management when i have a migrane or any other type of lasting pain. lmao (I have low pain tolerance, it works.)
