Tubal ligation AFTER Birth?????!!!????

Hey ladies! I am preparing to give birth to my 3rd and final baby & I wanted to know if there are any women out there that have had a vaginal birth and had their tubes tied directly AFTER giving birth ? How was the recovery? How long did you have to stay in the hospital or just what was the process like overall? ?

I'm no help but why is "after" in all caps? All tubal ligations have to happen after giving birth. 😅

I’m going to get mine done literally after the baby is born while my epidural is still working

I’m also getting mine removed right after birth. They told me it’s just one small incision because the uterus is still big so they don’t need to do it laparoscopic and recover is 4-6 weeks just like birth. I’m wondering if anyone has had heavy bleeding after and worse periods then before?

Yes! It’s so much better for recovery to endure it at once. I had mine 2 years ago after having my son.
