Refused to co-sign for a car for my boyfriend and now he’s struggling
I was wishy washy about my decision because of a few things but ultimately I decided to back out from co-signing and he accepted it and decided to go about it on his own. The only thing now is he’s having a hard time finding a good deal because of his credit and doesn’t want to finance a cheaper car because he wants to buy a good one that holds its value in the future. He only asks me to be supportive, mostly emotionally, because he’s going to be working very hard and working multiple jobs to accomplish his goals. We work one of those jobs together so my plan is to always make sure I bring enough food for both of us so he doesn’t have to ever spend money on food. I’m also working on getting my license and when I do, I plan on getting my own car so he doesn’t have to drive back and forth too much to take me to and from work. How are other ways I can be supportive?
