Help tying my room together!!!
My bedroom was like a dark dungeon with really dark grey walls. I freshened it up by painting my room with Benjamin Moore edgecomb grey, which against my white trim looks beige so it’s great!!!
My problem is that my bed frame, night stand, and dresser are all dark tone wood and my makeup desk and another tall wooden cube shelf that holds wicker baskets is white.
I’m having trouble brainstorming bedding ideas that will help tie the two different furniture colors together and make them look more intentional. I don’t want to get rid of any of the furniture YET but I definitely will eventually and get all matching furniture, I just don’t have the funds to do so at the moment and they wouldn’t make me much money to sell them.
Anyway.. I’ve always used white sheets on my bed because they’re just easier but I’m open to colors/patterns.
No idea what to do for a comforter/ duvet cover color
I want a throw blanket and I’m debating making my own with that really thick yard that you can hand knit with so it’s a really chunky blanket… but again, what color??
I’ve looked into colors that compliment edgecomb grey and I’ve seen earth tones which I’m not apposed to, I just really don’t want my bedroom to become a dark dungeon again
Any suggestions?! 🤩
