Restriction growth

I found out at 27 weeks pregnant my baby had restricted growth. He is 2 pounds and was measured 25 weeks. All his measurements were going great up until this point. I started to wonder if something was wrong because I have gestational diabetes and up until this point I had only gained 2 pounds and didn't look pregnant. I was 210 pounds before pregnancy, at 27 weeks was 212 pounds and now at 30 weeks tomorrow I'm 216 pounds.

I go Wednesday 1-8-2025 to measure baby again I'm on weekly visits for ultrasound to watch baby close but I'm so scared. This is my 8th pregnancy with 5 living. This has never happened before and was told they aren't sure why it's happening that sometimes it just happens. My sugar has been great and not on insulin.

I was wondering if anyone has any success stories or any stories at all for restricted growth. I have started to feel baby less and less but my doctor has me doing nst and baby looks great.
