When to expect period after birth??

Hey ladies! When did you get your first postpartum period? I’m 7 weeks PP, only formula feeding and still haven’t had auntie flo show up… and how was your first period after birth?

i didn’t have a period for about 4-6 months if i remember correctly with my first. i was nursing though so i know it’s a little different with the hormones. i wouldn’t worry too much about it depending on what way you gave birth also! 
i have to say though it was HEAVY. i didn’t have a lot of clots like i did after giving birth but i really didn’t bleed long after i gave birth either. it was definitely the most heavy period ive ever had. also don’t be worried if you have a period and then don’t for awhile again it can take up to a year for cycles to regulate after birth. 🩷
