So annoyed at my husband.

I posted yesterday about wanting to punch my husband in the face. While I didn’t get the same feeling today, I was very annoyed and had to bite my tongue this morning. So we have a one and three year old and I’ve been drowning in laundry. I’ve been having trouble putting it away. The most “help” my husband does is dumps it on the floor or bed in hopes to find something or in hopes I’ll get the message and put it away. Anyway. He was in a piss poor mood this morning and put the little ones in cry mode. And then he was looking for his clothes. I spent a good amount of time of time yesterday hanging up his shorts and my shirts (since I usually prioritize the little ones’ laundry, I finally got our adult laundry hung- woo hoo!) so he’s looking for his clothes. He asks me for underwear (knowing that the baby pooped and needs to be changed by me) so I say okay and go to the laundry basket (I just washed laundry before putting the girls to bed the night before so I know there’s some in there). He says “nevermind!” Comes back and says “where’s my pants?” I asked “which ones?” I told him I could help him after I change the baby. But he demanded now so I go to the bedroom and the laundry is ALL OVER THE FLOOR. I wasn’t too surprised, he does this often. So I put it back in basinet (which is where o keep clean laundry so I don’t have to bend over when I’m hanging up clothes. As I’m picking it up he’s yelling at our three year old. Brings her to the room to me for a time out, then yells at me that the baby’s diaper is falling off and poop is falling out. So I go to get baby to clean and put on a clean diaper. Then after both are in high chairs he says to me, that he would have been more helpful if he could find his clothes. And he says in a belittling kind of way, “so please put the laundry away.”

Instead of saying, “I hung up all of our shirts and my dresses yesterday.“ I just said okay. He then proceeded to look for his pants again and emptied the laundry from the bassinet once again onto the baby’s crib and our bed.

So I was offended and annoyed that he disregarded the fact that I made it a point to get all of our laundry hung yesterday. YOU’RE WELCOME ASSHOLE is what I wanted to say. He found his pants wherever it is on the floor that he left them yesterday day.
