How important is bbt in all of this? 🌡️This has been my first month tracking my bbt in the mornings. I have noted that my temp is not as high as it suppose to be after ovulation. Is that reason for concern?

You can use temps as the true way to confirm ovulation, but like the other commenter said it is about a pattern of temps and not the individual temperatures that matter. To confirm that you have ovulated you need to see 3 temps that are higher than the previous 6. If you don’t see that yet you may not have ovulated yet. It’s also important to keep everything consistent when temping, make sure to take temperatures at the exact same time every day after at least 3-4 hours or more of uninterrupted sleep and don’t get up or move around at all before taking the temperature.

BBT confirms ovulation so it’s pretty important. It’s not about the temp itself, it’s about the pattern. You need to see the spike with it staying high to confirm ovulation. Do you have a graph of your temps?
