Bf wants his best friend to go?

Please tell me if I’m being the AH here. My bf wants his “best friend”/“lil bro” to ride with us to our first ultrasound because he wants him to go eat with us afterwards. Also wants him to tag along on our Valentine’s Day trip. He says his friend has grown up very poor and has not gotten to experience a lot and that’s his reasoning. I was whatever about him riding to eat but feel the valentines trip is a bit much. Yes we would be paying for all his stuff. We haven’t had a trip for just us in over a year 🥲
