No fetal pole seen at 5w6d..anyone else go through this?

We had an ultrasound last week at 5w6d. All she could see was the gestational sack which was measuring at 5w6d. She could not see the fetal pole. She said it was normal for being this early.

Is it okay? Is the baby okay? They kept telling us it’s early and it’s not uncommon. When I asked for hcg levels to be checked again she refused. Said it wouldn’t tell me anything at this point….

They want me to wait 10 days and go back for another ultrasound

I’m confused and left with so many questions

Needless to say after the next ultrasound with them I will find another clinic that cares more.

Anyone else not see a fetal pole early but later the baby was okay? I’m scared and confused.

Is it just too early to see a baby?
