Help! What to do!?

I just had my first transfer 2 weeks ago which failed. I have one embryo left. I’m stuck in a position on whether to transfer the last one to see what happens or to do another retrieval. Ideally we would like 2 kids. Would it be okay to start another retrieval cycle after having a baby (providing next transfer is successful), or is it best to do another retrieval before moving forward with the transfer?

Everyone has a different strategy with ivf. I barely got embryo per cycle sometimes none so my strategy was always to transfer what I had rather than continue to collect. Other women try do several retrieval cycles to bank the embryos and the transfer the best. I ended up getting success with IVF after 8 cycles but I don’t have any embryos left as it was my last embryo that worked.

I been through similar situation. I'lol tell u my story hoping it would help you decide. I had 3 embryos at age of 30 I transferred 1 and delivered a baby it was 6 yes back. I did 3 failed transfer cycles for my rest two embryos over last couple of years, with my last transfer I thought of this sticks we are done and don't need to see fertility clinic ever again. But god had different plans for me. So, finally I ended up signing up for another retrieval cycle which will happen end of this month.
I would say follow your instincts. See what's right for you given your financial, physical and emotional situation right now.
