I told you

Does anyone else have a partner who tells them “i told you so” often? I don’t know if I’m overthinking this or not, but my boyfriend often tells me “I told you”, even when I don’t doubt or refute what he’s said. Idk if he needs validation or to feel that he’s right all the time but it bothers me and I’ve expressed that to him. I feel like he’s implying that I don’t listen or comprehend what he’s saying, or that I said he was wrong about something.

Ex: He mentions the weather being nice. I haven’t gone outside, but I look out the window and say it does look nice. I go out later and I’m like it’s beautiful out here. Him: I told you so.

We’re watching the same football game but at separate locations and I mention how the game is good, and he goes I told you, even though we never even had a conversation about it.

Im on a fitness journey and sometimes vent to him about my body. Although I’m actively working on what I’m trying to change, even taking some of his advice from previous conversations. I was venting today and to sum up his part of the convo, Him: I told you want to do. I told you more of this, Iess of that, I told you it’s your clothes.

I guess for me I just wanna be able to vent or have a conversation without being told I told you so constantly.
