Braxton Hicks for almost 24 hours but still no dilation

I just need somewhere to vent about this without feeling like a crazy person. I’m 37 weeks and 4 days. I’ve had Braxton Hicks since bed time last night with only short bursts of relief, I was hoping and PRAYING that when I had my appointment today that there would be some dilation but in my dr’s words I’m still “ closed tight “. The only recommendation I was given was to take some Benadryl so that I could get some sleep since the Braxton Hicks kept me up all night. I’m so frustrated because I really thought there would be some cervical dilation but it feels like nothing is happening. ( Ik this is going to sound AWFUL but oh well ) I heard the dr talking to the woman in the room next to mine who was a week behind me and he told her that she’s 1.5cm dilated and I felt so hopeful that maybe it was a sign and I would have some movement. I got SO sad when he told me that I still had nothing.
