Period after miscarriage

So i had a miscarriage and passed the pregnancy tissue on jan 30th. I only bled for like, 4 or 5 days. I was 12 weeks but baby had stopped growing at 6w5d. It was also the most painfull miscarriage ive had and i have had 3 in the past year. Well this is my first period since, and it hurts a lot. I'm bleeding heavier than normal, not hemorrhage bad, but heavier than my normal periods, which are already heavy. And my abdomen right above my pubic bone is extremely painfull when pressed on. Plus i keep getting shooting pain from my uterine area to my butt. Anyone else have this and it was normal?
