How long did it take you to get pregnant?

We just started trying and I hear constantly 1 year is the normal 😔

My four pregnancies were conceived in 4, 1, 2, and 5/3 (long story) cycles.

1 year is the period it should take for a healthy couple who don’t have any fertility problems but it’s honestly down to a lot of other factors to tbf how often ur doing it if ur tracking ovulation if ur regular with periods 
With my first child it took me 8 months to fall pregnant he wasn’t planned me and his dad just never used protection 
Me and my current partner seem to be quite suited to each other fertility wise first year of our relationship we didn’t even have sex due to medical reasons on his side once that was sorted I fell pregnant within 3 months (ended in a miscarriage) got pregnant again a month later (ended in a chemical pregnancy) got pregnant 2 months later (he’s now 4) then fell pregnant again when I was 4month pp (he’s now 3) found out I was pregnant again August 2021 huge shock as we’d only done the deed once the whole month (he’s nearly 2) I got my period back in nov after breastfeeding my 2023 baby and we didn’t the deed once again and come dec I find out I’m pregnant again (ended in a miscarriage) started trying for baby once bleeding stopped found out I’m pregnant again 14 days ago and everything is going as it should tests importing no bleeding alls going great
Best advise track ovulation with tests and bbs to be more accurate have sex as much as u can closer to ovulation and the day after just incase use ph friendly lubes I don’t use vitamins as there’s no proof they work but if u wanna use them do that too

The harder we tried it seemed like the longer it took 🫠. With our first it took 4 months of actively trying, 2nd was a few months of not trying but not preventing when I got my cycle back pp, but our third we were trying so hard and it took 18 months plus fertility testing and other blood tests to get pregnant. Then our 4th and 5th have been surprises! 😆 🤷🏼‍♀️

1 year is normal and i think that's about how long it took with my first baby. Let yourself enjoy the "trying" and work on hobbies or other fun things to occupy your mind. I promise you, if i knew back then what i knew now i would've been patient and enjoyed the waiting because it's worth it
