Just my two cents, I wouldn’t use rubbing alcohol on this! Rubbing alcohol is no longer recommend for wound care as it can interfere with tissue healing. Make sure to clean the area with a damp wash cloth and let the area dry completely. Contact your doctor if noticing signs of infection.

It could be slightly infected. Try cleaning it gently with rubbing alcohol so the moisture evaporates quickly. If it doesn’t look better by tomorrow contact your pediatrician. Or you can skip the home remedy and give them a call anyway!
