Working while pregnant

Pregnant working mamas!

When did you take leave? I have had a rough pregnancy and I work full time as a retail store manager and I’ll be 32 weeks tomorrow. I am BURNT out. On top of that, my husband and I are moving next month and he works 55-60 hours/week. I told my work I want to take my leave at 35 week. I’ll have over 2 weeks of PTO to use and then I get 12 weeks of short term disability. My work is trying to talk me out of taking my leave early or even do reduced hours, but I just know I’m pretty much at my wits end. I have not had the easiest or smoothest pregnancy. I’ve been to the ER several times for dehydration and hemiplegic migraines. And went into L&D at 30 weeks due to losing my plug and having contractions. HR wants my dr to sign off on saying I need to take my leave early. He’s really good about patient advocacy. I’m just looking for any advice or personal experiences with having to take leave early. I just know my body and it can’t handle much more.
