Just out of curiosity, is the baby gender nipt blood test 100% accurate before actually scan?

I decided to take one when I was around12 weeks  and  it showed about a 12% of what the gender will be( don’t wanna disclose gender as yet till I get the scan done in two weeks time) to make sure it was accurate!

Nipt is 99% accurate but there are times they are wrong. It was right 3/3 for me. I usually wait for the ultrasound as well. :)

12% fetal fraction rate is high and good. Over 4% is needed for 99.9% accuracy. 
NIPT is far more accurate than an ultrasound.

It is >99% accurate if it’s the one ordered by your doctor. It is more accurate than ultrasound. The “12%” you’re seeing is probably the fetal fraction, which just helps to make sure the test is valid, it has nothing to do with the results otherwise.
