How is it possible my ex has herpes when my herpes test was a false positive? Is there something he’s not telling me?

I got tested for herpes and it was definitely a false positive then my ex showed me he tested positive for the herpes antibodies and claimed I gave it to him when I didn’t. It was a false positive for me because I tested positive for the antibodies and never had a positive swab and then I tested negative for the igg inhibition test. That’s the test to see if it was a false positive. I never had an outbreak. The doctor even told me. He told me I was the only girl he’s been with. Is he lying to me about only being with me? There is no way I gave him
herpes. You think he lied about only being with me and you think he had it this whole time and didn’t know? We only been together for 7 months. I never gave it to anyone else.

I think you gave him herpes baby, you can still be a carrier of the antibodies I’d definitely get retested I don’t think you got a false positive

Heroes can lay dormant for years and flare at times of weak immunity. If you have had cold sores you have herpes. If you’ve given him oral sex with herpe virus etc or if you have genital herpes and had unprotected sex you could have given it to him. He could have it from 5, 10, 20 years ago and not even know. 
I’d read about herpes virus if I were you. Don’t fire bomb you relationship until you read up about it

Herpes blood tests are not always accurate. 
You also don’t have to have symptoms to have it. 
If your have cold sores, and don’t realize that’s herpes, there’s your answer.
