Mattress protector

Question

Can I just put this on my baby’s mattress for blowouts? I want to be able to wipe it off and keep the mattress clean. I seen a sealy or serta cover that zips as well but read the reviews with people saying their babes blowouts still managed to bleed through the cover and stained the mattress

Considering that’s a storage bag, I doubt it’s meant to be slept on. Just invest in a really good quality waterproof mattress topper.

I just have a waterproof mattress pad under the sheet and I haven’t had any bleed through issues from my three kids who used the crib. I did that with our bassinet too. Sometimes kids do have leaks and the mattress pad has managed to keep our mattress perfectly clean.

wtf you guys feeding these kids / how long between changing goes by to create these messes? I have 4 kids and have yet to have a bed messing blowout. Do you all just not put diapers on right? Or are they the wrong size? I don’t understand how this happens to the point where mattresses are being destroyed.

Put down puppy pads under the sheets.

Waterproof crib mattress protectors have a plastic layer sewn inside the fabric. Put your regular fitted sheet on top of that. After 4 kids our crib mattress is still pristine. I just wash both if diaper ever leaks (pee happens way more often).

I wouldn't. That's made for keeping a mattress in storage not to be slept on. I would just get a really good waterproof mattress protector
