Spotting 10 days

So went to the doctors last week where she inserted a speculumand took a swab and did mention there eas bleeding from the uterine wall and has referred me for a ultra sound. Im still spotting so 10th day of spotting not loads only when i wipe and maybe a few drops in the toilet bowl. Just wondering uf i should go back to the dr and get a blood test for anemia as im due on next week and obviously if the spotting continuesit will be nearin 3 weeks of bleeding
