Question

How many rounds did it take you to conceive with iui if it was successful for you? What are some changes or tips you think helped you? I’m about to do my first iui next month and I’m so excited but scared because I know my doctor is only going to let me do 3 of them before she says ivf will be my only option since I’ve been multiple medicated times intercourse cycles in the past with no luck. I cannot afford to go into debt for ivf 20,000-30,000$ a month…

Just started my injection today for iui. Im hoping it will only take one or two times because im paying out of pocket since they said that was better than going through insurance ): i just keep telling myself it will be worth it once im holding my little bundle of joy

All our IUIs were unsuccessful. I’ve done 25 medicated cycles. ICIs. Need IVF ICSI but it’s $30,000 for one cycle that may or may not work. We just can’t afford it. So hopefully they will let us try a couple more IUIs this year and more medicated cycles.

My first IUI was successful . And that’s that I was considered high risk due to my age of 37 . I had to lose 10lbs before the Dr even did my IUI so I was eating healthy and walking 3 a lot and actually managed to lose 15lbs, And if you have PCOS you know how hard that can be. So I’d say stay healthy , stress free & Good luck 🙏🏼

It wasn't successful for me, but after my 4th iui we took a break and before we went back to do the 5th a couple months later I was pregnant. I had been focussing pretty hard the year before on healthy eating and working out regularly, which I do think helped as between that and, I am sure, the meds as well my body was finally regular. 
My sister in law was successful on her first iui with her first, and her second iui with her second
