Acne, Weaning, and Weird Menstrual cycle

From late January to late February I was under a lot of stress - my dad was dying, my company pulled us back in office full time, I had to find suitable daycare, and I decided to wean my son.

During all of this, I started getting painful acne around my chin/jaw area. I assumed it was all the stress, because I have never had terribly acne like that before (even during teenage years).

Here we are two months later, and I still have terrible acne. All my stress (well, most of it) is gone. I successfully weaned my son, I got through my dad passing away, I’ve settled in at work, and daycare is going great.

I started poking around and it seems that some women get acne temporarily while/after they wean (it’s been two full months of no breastfeeding). On top of that, I had two separate menstrual cycles in March - one at the beginning and one at the end, which is very strange for me (probably less than 20 days apart, I think).

Did anyone else experience terrible acne and/or strange menstrual cycles after weaning?

What are your thoughts/experiences with this - is this going to level off in a few months, or is it worth getting this checked out now?
