Ovulating on birth control?

I’m waiting currently for my depo shot to stop working since me and my husband are ready to start trying. For shiz and giggles I took a pregnancy test and ovulation test.. my birth control isn’t supposed to stop being active for a month but I’m ovulating? Yet not pregnant I’m so confused

Like the other commenter said, this is a negative ovulation test. Did you read the instructions?
