Sore Nipples after my period

So for the past couple of days I have been experiencing extremely sore nipples. I got my period on last Tuesday and ended Saturday. Usually I only have tender breast before my period. But it has now been 2 weeks of sore breast. I know I’m not pregnant because I took a pregnancy out of curiosity but my breast are still super sore. Do yall think it is because I’m sexual frustrated being that my partner has been out of town the last couple of weeks for a family vacation or I need to get my breast checked by my gyn?!?

I’m really curious because this never happens.
