low hcg or ???

just looking to see if anyone else has went thru something similar and had a successful pregnancy. bc i’m stressing goooorl.

to make a long story short I had a miscarriage in September of last year. We really don’t know why we just assumed that the baby stopped growing because I was supposed to be eight weeks and the baby was only measuring five with no heartbeat right. so I found out I am pregnant again about a week ago !! my last cycle was on May 18th and my highest LH test was on June 3rd. so with that information I would be around five weeks…well today I decided to go see my OB to get blood drawn to check my HCG levels and she tells me that they’re only 17 and that we’ll do another blood test in two days to make sure they’re doubling. now I know that 17 is low for five weeks and maybe I just ovulated late, maybe implantation was just late, but y’all I’m kind of freaking out because my last miscarriage messed me up so bad mentally I don’t think that I could possibly go through that again. I want to be a mother and I want a baby so bad and I’m just praying and hoping that this one sticks. has anyone else gone through something similar ?? and had a successful pregnancy ??? I’m sorry I’m just having so much anxiety 😞
