Excessive Crying 10 Month Old
I’m at a loss. My 10-month old cries excessively all. The. Time. Even at the most minor of inconveniences. She is crawling around with a ball in her hand and the ball slips and rolls away: end of the world screaming and blubbering for 30+ minutes. She’s playing with a cat toy and the set moves (doesn’t hit her, pinch, tip, anything, just moves slightly): screaming, crying, blubbering, 60+ minutes. A book won’t get out of her way while crawling: screaming, crying, blubbering, another hour. And there’s no calming her down. I try to snuggle her, offer boob, food, water, take her outside, put her in the bathtub, offer other toys/distractions, take her for a drive, nothing helps. Is this an underlying behavioral issue? A sign of a strong personality? She isn’t teething, sick, and has always been like this (although it’s gotten worse in recent weeks). My 3 year old son never had issues settling down, and wouldn’t be set off by the tiniest of things. I am getting to my wits end and don’t know what else to do. Any advice, other tricks to try, experiences with similarly strong willed babies, anything helps…
