Baby stops growing at 36 weeks?

Hi everyone,

This is my second pregnancy, my first was healthy and normal, no issues and thus far, my pregnancy has been also healthy with no issues.

Well today I had my weekly appointment with my OB and when it came to measurements, this baby had always measured AT LEAST a week ahead example: last week I was 35 weeks and baby was measuring at 36 and 3 days. Today I got measured and she was only measuring 36 and 1 day…. From a whole week…. So I’m concerned that she is measuring less than what it was last week… I just turned 36 weeks today. I just feel very uneasy that she’s measuring less than last week. When I asked my OB about it, he said he wasn’t worried about it and only cared if the growth is increasing….. which it has been up until now….. not only did it stop but it is less than last week….

Thoughts? Has this happened to anyone else?
