I’m over the moon to be pregnant. It’s everything I’ve ever wanted. However I’ve had a uti for 2 weeks. Before I found out I was pregnant I did a round of bactrim ds. Twice a day for 3 days. It didn’t clear it up. Then I found out I was pregnant. But the uti felt like it worsened so I went to urgent care. They gave me Nitrofurantoin 100mg to take twice daily for a week. I just started my 3rd day on them, and I still have little to no relief and usually the second I even take one antibiotic I feel better.

Is this normal? It’s so hard to celebrate and be happy when I can hardly get out of bed because of the uti pain.
