44 & completely shocked

Lisa

Some of you might remember me. when I was 42, my partner and I got pregnant and lost our little girl in the second trimester, then we went on to have two more early on miscarriages and a chemical. I also had three miscarriages with my ex-husband, whom I was married to for almost 21 years, but we also have 4 grown daughters together too.

so all in all, six miscarriages and one chemical. My partner and I went through diagnostic testing with IVF but we never started it.

We actually decided that if it was going to happen, it’s going to happen naturally because all the diagnostic testing showed we both were perfectly fine. And there were issues or delays, I should say, trying to add me as a domestic partner to his insurance which accepted IVF coverage.

and then, we started having some relationship issues (lots of stress) and trying to conceive was the last thing on our mind.

we were selling the house and buying a new one and moving.

Then the holidays came and went. His dad got ill and hospitalized and then, this just happened!

You might have to zoom in.

Only the second one shows a faint line. We only had intercourse on Feb 19th and 21st. I was not due to ovulate til Feb 28th.

My fertile window was February 23-March 1st. I do have PCOS.

I never took ovulation test’s, just tracked it on this app. I’m scared to death of miscarrying again, or having a chemical. My doctor always told me start my Levenox injections immediately, soon as I get a positive test, so technically this morning,

I think that’s a positive, right?

What do you all think. The earliest I could have conceived would’ve been the 19th and the latest the 21st of Feb.

I definitely feel like it was probably the 21st.

I’ve been having bouts of nausea that only last less than a minute at a time. I’ll add our last miscarriage was in April 2022 and we went unprotected ever since and we completed all the IVF diagnostic testing in November 2022.
