Baby sound wheezy

Does your baby or toddler sound wheezy when they’re sick? If so, are they diagnosed with asthma? Both my baby and toddler both sound wheezy when they’re sick, I’m not sure if this mean they might have asthma. Their doctor are leaning towards yes 😫
